Beautiful little vinaigrette in the design of a purse or case.

The gilt is still intact inside despite being over 220 years old

It is in good condition, the only damage being a tiny split in the right hand side of the lid. The grill is not attached to the box but looks like it never was attached.

The engraving of the box is still in excellent condition and the hinge is in good order. The grill is in perfect condition and has a lovely scroll design to it.

An impressive little item which is in good condition despite its age.

The makers initials must have been rubbed off at some point, it is over 220 years old so it must have been over polished at some point. All I can make out is a 'U'. It is not unusual for something this old to either have no silvermakers mark or it has been rubbed off in time. Hope this helps!
